Excellent iron removal and manganese removal performance

Since the amount of manganese on the surface of the filter medium is larger than that of ordinary manganese sand, it exhibits excellent iron removal and manganese removal performance. Especially for manganese, it is possible to handle not only the tap water quality standard of 0.05 mg / L or less, but also the high level distillation water (0.02 mg / L or less) required in breweries.

Long life

The iron removal / manganese removal treatment method using this filter medium is the catalytic oxidation method using chlorine. A special chemical on the surface of the filter material causes an autocatalytic reaction, and the target substance is removed by adhering to the surface of the filter material. Unlike activated carbon, it is continuously regenerated without being saturated, so it is not necessary to replace the filter media in a short period of time, and it can be used for a long period of time.

The activation required for commissioning is easy and can be completed in a short time. And it demonstrates excellent removal performance from the beginning.

We have a lineup of two types of products with different densities so that they can be arranged in various ways as high-performance filter media.

＜Ferrorite MC / HC series＞
It can be used as a multi-layer filter in combination with anthracite or ceramic filter media.
As a result, groundwater that was previously treated in two towers, such as turbidity + iron removal and manganese removal, can now be treated in one tower.

＜Ferrorite GC series＞
Since the density is low, the deployment efficiency during backwashing is good, and the amount of washing water can be reduced, so water can be used more effectively.
