Issues / requests
Weakly acidic hypochlorite is used for multiple purposes in the factory. Monitor the "residual chlorine" and "pH" of the sterilizing water that intermittently flows from the weakly acidic hypochlorous water generator. Since the amount of flowing water increases or decreases depending on the operating conditions of the factory, the conventional "residual salt monitoring sensor" has a problem that the indicated value changes significantly and is not stable. In addition, when the water stops, the water flowing to the residual salt sensor also stops, so that the indicated value drops sharply and the alarm of "residual salt abnormality" is often issued, which is a problem. In the generator, since carbon dioxide gas is injected, there is a problem that the sensor measurement unit tends to foam and the indicated value is not stable.
Tohkemy's proposal
Installed by the "Dalco system" method using a buffer tank _and a circulation pump that stabilizes measurement conditions. Due to the compact system, on-site installation work can be completed in a few hours. (Power supply is also AC100V) The method that the indicated value does not fluctuate is highly evaluated even for the change in flow rate, which was a problem. In addition, we have devised ways to suppress the foaming of dissolved carbon dioxide gas, _and the measurement has become stable. The issuance of the lower limit value alarm has also decreased dramatically, _and it is stable in terms of operation. From the perspective of the factory management system (HACCP), which will be implemented from June 2020, continuous monitoring of sterilized water will also play an important role.
